Over the years I have posted both audio and video here on tom anthony dot com as a sample of my production both through my company for clients and as a sort of archive of my old broadcasting work. I guess now it’s mostly nostalgia that has me post that stuff here, but I thought at least some of it was worth leaving on the Internet.

In the years before Flash Video I used the first internet video playback software called “Real Media” – that company required special server software, and a whole suite of encoding tools. It also required a “free” media player that became a hassle for my visitors to download. The free version of the Real Player software became increasingly hard to find on their website and the paid version was a little too much to ask for the kind of videos I had presented.
I moved to Windows Media and Quicktime – usually presenting files in both formats. With the advent of Flash Video in 2002 I started presenting videos in the new format on my site and on joecipriano.com. The quality compared to today was just awful – but remember Broadband or “High Speed” Internet access did not really arrive until about 2006. Now I maintain two channels on YouTube and have had well over 300,000 videos of just my videos alone – which is probably more traffic that has ever visited tom anthony dot com since going live in March 1998.
Since launching the Open Source Music Project I have moved the musical recordings once found here over to that site. As an archive of my days in Broadcasting I have re-posted a set of audio files you may find amusing. Audio Page Click Here
